Apple is actively deleting iPhone posts that are criticizing the move.
(It's Apple's forum, and they are entitled to enforce terms of service.
However, I'll bet Apple's new legal counsel will have his hands full.)

I think they are just getting ready for the launching of the new iphone 5 which will be out this year. And a lot of people are excited about that.
